Anonymous SSL (HTTPS)

Hi,

We are having a SAP R/3(IDOC) to Ariba (cXML) interface configured through XI . We have activated the SSL option in XI. We are using Anonymous SSL in the RFC destination created. Do we have to import a certificate for using Anonymous SSL , i guess not .

Besides on checking the transaction SMICM in XI it shows that the HTTPS port configured is not activated . When we tried to activate this port it won't get activated .

Any useful suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,

Rahul

You need to import CA root certificate in XI in STRUST.

Thanks,

Okie.. So I'm going to import this certificate which got downloaded when i connected to the URL through the browser. But when i create the RFC destination of type G , it asks for the target hostname and the port. I don't have the target host name - but a dns name / ip address. I hope that should work . But for the service number - should i be giving the https port number of my XI box or my target system(which by default is 443).

The port has to refer to your target's port.

considering that you are using the default https port of 443, you can ignore this entry if it is not mandatory ( dont remember well if i ignored it or i just gave 443 ) will work with both.

Also make sure that the domain name matches with the common name of the certificate. We faced some issues on that end as well.

Bhavesh
