Remote Client Copy

Hi,

I want to know that after doing remote client copy from PRD to DEV should i have to follow some process to change the logical system in my DEV client or it can be changed diectly in SCC4.

Please suggest.

Answer is no.You dont need to make any changes in SCC4.

You have to run BDLS in case your perform a system copy(homogeneous copy) to change the logical name of the client.

So the conclusion is that we don't have to do anything with logical system after remote client copy.

Please make me right if I am wrong anywhere.

No need to change logical system in target system after client copy.

Hi

i don't understand what is the need to change the logical system name. in client copy we only copy the profiles(like sapcust sapall etc.)

in case if u want to change the logical system name in u r DEV system, use SALE transaction code to create logical system then u can change the logical system name in SCC4.
