Querying the UME-Database on a remote EP system - UME Web Service

Hi all,

I know how to query the UME database using the com.sap.security.api.UMFactory class and corresponding getXXXFactory() methods. However, my java (mapping) program runs on an XI server and I need to query a UME database on a remote EP system and get the list of users matching some input criteria, etc.

Is this possible at all? I'll appreciate all links, documents, etc. you can provide.

Edit: I have heard that there should exist a "UMWebservice", however, if I open the Webservice Navigator (http://server:port/wsnavigator/enterwsdl.html), there's no such service.

Does anyone have the link and/or wsdl of this service?

Hi Omri,

I wanted to get the list of all the users present EP both in LDAP and UME is there a way i can query and get the required details instead of writing the code ?

i tried the below link suggested by you but it is giving a xml file as output how do i get the users list kindly help me.
