Dear Guru,
I have encountered an issue releted to good receipt.
can good receipt is possible when received quantity is more than delivering quantity...
if it is possible then how??
Can you please guide me through out the steps if it is possible...
please help.

No. Not Possible. It has to be less than or equal to PO quantity.

Hello,
You will be taking back the goods based on the original invoice. A return order will be created with reference to the invoice, the create a retrun delivery, so the quantity will get copied from the invoice iteself, so normally there should not be any manual intervension, so the quantity will not get changed.

Practically NO as you are suppose to take a refrence of previous document number from which customer is returning so where is the questain of increasing the Quantity for reciept

Hi,
i think it is not possible.when coming to business scenario, ur company asks the customer to return the goods when Rehabilitation cost is less than the cost of goods. so , obviously customer can return the goods maximum upto the delivery quantity only..then the goods receipt is not possible to have more than the delivery quantity..
