Cant start system after DB attach

Hi,

Our QAS system is R/3 4.7x110, Windows2003 st.ed.

Recently i had a task to install on the system an older version of DB.

I stopped the system, detached DB (MS SQL 2000), stopped SAP win services, backed up kernel.(C:\usr\sap\QAS\SYS\exe\run content)

I copied old kernel version back up and attached an old version of db.

The System didnu2019t start. After 2 day of solution searching we have decided to set it back.

I copy recent kernel, attach recent DB ....and system start for 5 sec...and go down

Hi,

please check if the login qas is member of the sysadmin role. If yes, please remove the sysadmin role. The login has to part of these (and only these) roles

- dbcreator

- server admin

- bulk admin

- public

Download the STM from sap service marketplace and execute it . It is solved your problem.
