How to use IMAP4/pop3 to send mail from Gmail account

Hi

I am sending mail from my Gmail account to XI

I am getting error"Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect"

URL Used are

For Transport protocol POP3 pop://pop.gmail.com

IMAP4 map://imap.gmail.com/UserInbox

where i am goging wrong.

First of all, ur mail provider should allow u to access its pop3 server to retrieve the mail.

If u r trying to access it through ur organization, then make sure that XI is accessible across the firewall.

if possible try it with your company mail server.

There might be a possibility that XI server is not able to cross the co. firewalls.

I want to use Gmail Only.

With Company Server it is working fine
