Hello,
We were working on SRM 4.0 EBP (CS) & R3 46C, Now we are setting up SRM 4.0 (CS) with ECC6 Backend, whlie replicating vendor the system throws an error
Backend systems with Release 700 are not supported
even while downloding the material the load keeps on running without generating the queue.
Does anyone knows, where to fix this?
If possible let me know what is the ideal way of defining & integrating the backend system for SRM.
Regards,
Vivek
Hi. Have you updated the backend system type:
Go to SPRO and "Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Technical Basic Settings > Define Backend Systems".
ECC 6 should be system type ERP_2.0.
This will change some of the function calls from table BBP_FUNCTION_MAP, make sure you test everything.
Regards,
Dave.

Hi Vivek,
Please look at implementing following notes depending on your SRM release :
- 874589
- 885690
SRM 4.0: A solution is made available with Note 874589.
SRM 3.0: A solution is made available with Note 885690.
<=SRM 2.0: A solution is not made available. Schedule an upgrade to a subsequent SRM release in time.
Best regards,
Laurent.
Remind points if helpfull.
Hi Vivek,
Have you already implemented note 885690?
This note allows application of new functions for R3 calls.
This note should be implemented if you have upgraded the backend system to ECC5.0 or ECC6.0
Best regards,
Laurent
