SRM - Poor performance

We are working on SRM-Server 5.50 (SapNetweaver 2004s) on windows-SQL.

Users are complaining about horrible performance of the system.

As I am BC but don't know anything about SRM I can use some help.

In SM04 i see most of the users are using transactions BBPIV04 or BBPIV08 or BBPGLOBAL.

In column type I see Plug-in HTTP.

In ST06n I don't see any bottlenecks concerning CPU or Memory or Disk activity

In ST02 I see the ABAP Buffering is ok no swaps.

I think it is related to the integrated ITS that needs to be tuned but I can't find very helpful information.

Is there anybody that can point me to the right direction for further investigation or a specific guide how to tune SRM optimally?

Thx

Hi,

1. Please make sure that your DB statistics are upto date

2. Please perform the steps explained in OSS Note 856803 - Improved performance in list displays

Hope this should solve your problem.

Hi,

This is ok...it is SQL and the DB is in autoextend.

All datafiles have still 10% free so no real issues there.

Kr

Update : after performance analysis by SAP it turned out performance issues ware related due to poor development.
