SAP - XI -Barcode system

Hi,

I have a requirement. As soon as a new PO gets generated in my SAP ECC the data should flow to a barcode system for some processing.

I would like to know how can i do it with or without XI ...?

The barcode system must be accepting outside data as file or directly in database. U will have to identify it first to understand how XI could communicate with it.

In WE20 specify the processing mode for the IDoc as Trigger Immediately. This would send the PO soon after the IDoc is created for it.

let us know more about the barcode system. If it is a SAP system or can understand the iDoc sent by the ECC it can be done without XI. if not XI is required to transform the IDoc message to the format that the barcode system can understand.
