Dear all,

We are doing backlog entries from 1st of april. In MM period, we have opened march and april month. In the same way, we have opened FI Period.

While doing delivery PGI, we are getting an error:

Posting only possible in periods 2008/01 and 2007/12 in company code 1800

*Procedure

Check the posting date and correct it if necessary. If your input is correct, inform your systems administrator that the "period shifting" (period-end closing) process has not yet been completed. Copied from M8022*

Our input is correct but i dont know from where posting date is picking?

Please suggest.

Hello,

Cehck for the posting periods in OB52 against your company code.

Check the fiscal year variant assigned to your company code. If it is K4, the posting period should be 08 2008 and if the posting period variant assigned is V3, it should be 05 2008.

Close the posting period accordingly using transaction MMPV.

We r now in August and you can open MM period for July only. System will not permit to have cushion more than that which means for June, you cannot do. Of course, for FI period, you have that cushion.

Hi,

Go to: MMPV

Give Deatails: Company Code

Now Clpse period: 2007/12, 2008/01 and 2008/02. System will automatically open Periods: 2008/03 and 2008/04 for postings.

For FI-Period: T.Code: OB52.

Note: In your case, it seems to related with MMPV and not to OB52. neways, check both.
