PP-QM interface

Hi PP experts,

I am trying to work on PP- QM interface while processing the component in the workcenter. My req is simple i want to check the SFG coming from workcenter wethes it lies within the specification or not. For this i have created inspection charecteristics, inspection method, sampling method.

I need your help to proceed further. I wanted to know what to do next.

Hy Samarth,

As per your explanation Material is SFG, that means it is manufactured in house.So to do its Quality testing it can be done via 2 ways.

- During In process inspection of Production order / Process Orders (03 type Inpection Lots).To do you have to assgin Master Inspection Characterstic in Routing or Master Recipe.

- After Goods Receipt from Production / Process Order.Or we can say it 04 type inspection.For this you have to assgin MIC's to the inpection plan.

Hi Dhaval,

Thank you for responding. You understood my situation correctly. Now i have assigned the Master inspection charecterstics to routing. How can assign lower and higher specfication of the SFG as req in this.

Hy,

- Select the line itme of MIC where you have attched it.

- Click on tyhe check box for "Qn" (quantitative)

- Now click on control indicator button

- Acitvate the check box for "lower specific limit" and "Upper Specific limit"

- Then press enter untill system itself ask you to enter the limits.
