Storage location

Hi All,

The issue is that as a process every returns delivery when post good issued (PGI) the material in SAP is automatically sent to a location called awaiting for destruction. In my case when PGI, part of the material was sent to a saleable location which caused a compliance issue.

Hi there,

Define a new returns shipping point.

Maintain storage loc determination T-code OVL3 for the returns shipping point into the required storage loc.

Hello Ravi,

I'm not sure, how to resolve the present issue-- may be using transaction mb1c and approrpiate movement type U'll have to transfer the return goods from the present storage location to the required SLoc.

However, to avoid such situations in future, you might consider the following options:

in the doc type configuration for RE, maintain a different shipping condition in the Shipping tab. Now, assuming ur SLoc is determined based on the rule MALA( Shipping PointDelivering plantStorage conditions) and in turn, shipping point is based on PlantShipping ConditionLoading Grp, U can have a diff Storage Location determined for Returns only..
