Error while installing CCMSPING.

Hi All,

While installing CCMSPING its asking for password for CSMREG user. i am giving correct password CSMREG user(which is created in rz21), but its not taking the correct

password. throwing below error

I have noticed that its unable to create RFC Destination for CCMS_PING.

At OS level CCMSPING Service is running

Hi Markus,

Thanks for your valuable info.

As a administrator i have logged into OS level (Win 2003 server) and tried to execute CCMSPING, but its failed...

By Logging into OS level with SIDADM user, i have executed CCMSPING successfully.

As you can see the user CSMREG is locked - unlock it and try again.

I have unlocked the CCMREG user and tried, again same error.

Is the user maybe locked again by some other process? Maybe another agent using the wrong password? If you always get the same message (too many logon attempts) then the user seems to be locked before you try to connect.
