Netweaver 2004s ABAP Edition - Problem in step 4

Hi all,

Installation process stopped during step 4.

Followed all instructions concerning J2SDK, Loopback adapter.... was logged in as nspadm.

Last Errors in log:

ERROR 2006-01-12 22:25:48

CJS-30129 Creating node $(DIR_TRANS) with type DIRECTORY failed. Original exception text was: syslib.filesystem.nodeCreationFailed:

Unable to create node
JANREVYN\sapmnt\ with type DIRECTORY: can't create parent node..

I'm not a PC specialist, so I hope someone can help out with this in a 'simple' way !?

This looks a little weird to me.

Unable to create node <b>\JANREVYNsapmnt</b> with type DIRECTORY: can't create parent node..

From what location are you running the installation from. If you are not running the installation from C:\ please try doing so.

Delete the complete stuff.

The newest SneakPreview should install much better ... I heard ...

Hi,

I had the same error. After installing Loop-back network adapter everything worked. It is not mentioned in Installation Guide but it mentioned as requirement list.

I hope this will help.

Had loop-back installed and working.

Might have something to do with 'read/write-rights' on folders, but can't set these on my standalone pc.

I now started installation from C:\Sneakpreview folder.

Same error.

I have admin right, system req. are ok. !

I'm stuck.
