Hi Friends,
I am beginier in SAP SD and working as end user my main area of working as MM. I know basic process from creation of Sale order to Billing
I just wanted to know How Rules, Copy and controls functions control document flow in SD and whats the significance of the same.please elaborate with example and how can we customize the same.
Regards
We use copy control to define the requirements and options when transferring the data from reference document to its subsequent document
Document Flow is being controlled by copy control
There are 6 levels of copy control
1. Sales document to Sales document - VTAA
2.Billing doc to Sales doc - VTAF
3. Sales doc to Delivery doc - VTLA
4. Delivery doc to Billing doc - VTFL
5. Billing to Billing - VTFF
6. Sales to Billing - VTFA
regards
Ram

The controls are like:
Billing Qty (which qty u2013 order / delivery)
Pricing Type (which pricing type. Fo Eg: 'B' rfers to carry out New Pricing.)
Price Source (source of price u2013 order / delivery)
