How to install the live cache for oracle DB

Hi,

How to install the live cahe for the oracel DB.

We had the SCM Dev system with oracle database.Now we are planning to install the live cahe on the same DB.Is it possible?

Plz give the appropriate steps.

There is nothing like "liveCache for Oracle".

Livecache is a separate application/database based on the SAPDB/MaxDB technology.

i understood that live cache is a product it will be applicable to any DB's.

i need to install the live cache from the existing system(Running with oracle DB)

Plz guide the procedure.

Am I going in a wrong direction?Plz guide.

You can install the livecache on the same server if your hardware vendor has sized the machine appropriately. Usually, for performance and resource reason, it´s installed on a separate box.
