Create Business Process in SOLAR01 and SOLAR02

Hi Experts,

I have a basic doubt in SOLMAN. Can I add a sub process under main buisness process in Solar01 or Solar02 transactions?

For example, I am working in business process "Administering Employee HR Data", under that I have seven sub-processes as delivered. Here is my requirement, Can I add some more sub processes in there?

Hi,

Yes you can. What you are saying as ' sub-processes' are ' business process steps' in SolMan terms.

To add business process steps do as follows.

Run Solar01and access blueprint process structure on the left hand frame.

Highlight the business process for which you want to add steps.(Administering Employee HR Data in your example)

Choose ' Structure' tab on the right hand frame.

Here you will see the earlier process steps under ' step name' column.

In this column - Add the process steps you want manually and choose the corresponding logical component for which you want it to be executed.

Save..and you have added your own process steps to your business process.
