Need common transport directory(heterogeneous)

Hello All,

I have to include three ECC 5.0 systems and three BW systems into Domain controller( Production solman 7.0)

1) Three ECC 5.0 System are running on Red Hat Linux (OS)

2) Three BW systems are running on Red Hat Linux (OS).

3) Domain Controller (solman) is running Windows 2003 server

Above situation is Heterogeneous environment.

Now i have to configure common transport directory for all above systems ( seven systems), which are running on Different OS like Red Hat Linux and Windows 2003 Server.

For common transport directory what are the steps have to be done...?

Please help me out.

As far as i know you can use Samba to share directories (in this case /usr/sap/trans) from Windows with the rest of the landscape in Linux.

What i think is you need to work with CTS+ configuration and please see the OSS note: 1003674 this is the central note which might be handy for you.
