Punch-out Catalog

If I use 'only' punch-out catalog, do I need to install CCM ?

Hi. No, as you will be using the catalog data held on the vendors catalog.

You only need CCM if you want to load your own items into a catalog and maintain the data yourself.

Do I need XI for this scenario (i.e only punch-out) ?

Hi. Probably not. We do not have XI and we use punch out quite a bit.

You suck the data back into SRM using OCI.

You will need XI if you want to really get benefit from using punch out and get XML POs going out and XML invoices coming in.

A lot of suppliers like to use XML as well, as they get benefit from that, and you get benefit from the supplier maintaining the catalog for you.
