Hi All,
On one of our R/s systems, the average response time per dialog step is high every afternoon.
What strategy should i adopt to improve this recurring performance problem?

Hi 1. Cyrus,
use transaction ST03N!
Some proposals:
- Change mode to Export Mode'
- Chose a related date (day, week, etc.)
- in section 'Analysis View' analyze further
e.g.
-- examine section 'Time Profile'
--- double click on the time window with the high repsonse time to see the performed programs
--- via the separate columns (cpu time, db time, FE time, etc.) you can determine wheter you have a DB a CPU or a network bottleneck.
- Then you can go deeper via ST02, ST04, ST06, or other monitoring transactions.
