Hi,

the BI systems can be accessed using different connectors

when you defining the BI system in portal the Connector should be any of the following

BI Java Connector BI XMLA, BI ODBO, BI JDBC, or BI SAP Query Connector.

above connectors are requird if you want to access the different type of data base of the BI .

for normal data SAP BI connector is enough.

so with BI integration wizard the connector should be any of the above

Hi,

Yes ,Even you have the BI system in portal the Connector for

that sytem is RFC not Other connectors

you can check for the type of connector in the portal click on the system open its properties there you find the Connector type

go for connection properties option.

see for more details.

Hi,

You may need to define specific user mapping per BI system. (user administration->choose your user->user mapping for system access->choose the BI system and enter the correct user).

Hi,

As per the warning it is saying to define a BI system in portal and you can choose any one type of connector from the list.

In Portal go to system admin and define a BI system which you want to integrate in VC then the alias name (which you will put in portal) will come in your VC and it will work.

Thanks
