How route is determined?

Hi,

Can anyone expalin how route is determined in the delivery document,can we change that manually in the delivery dcoument.

Dear Venu,

Route will be determined based on these combinations

1.Route determination without weight group

Depature country(Shipping point zone)Destination country(Ship to party zine)Shipping conditions(Customer master)+Transportation group(Material master)-->Route.

2.Route determination with weight group

Depature country(Shipping point zone)Destination country(Ship to party zine)Shipping conditions(Customer master)+Transportation group(Material master) +Weight group (delivery)-->Route.

Even you can change the route manually in the delivery document but that route should have determination for the specific slelection.

You can go through 0VRF transaction to do the route determination.

Yes we can change the route manually in delivery. go to delivery header and shipment in that you can the add a route availble in a list of route

Departure zone of the shipping pt

Shipping condition from sold to party

Transportation group of the materials from MMR in sales general tab

Transportation zone of ship to party taken from CMR

These 4 factors determine ROUTE

In order item you can manually over write the Route that is determined

You can redetermine the Route in delivery doc based on the weight of the materials

Whether Route is redetermined depends on the config of del doc type

Yes, we can change route in delivery document.

Maintain Route determination with weight Group.

(IMG- Route-Route Determination-Maintain Route Determination)

Maintain Shipping Conditions, Transportation group,Weight Group,Actual Route accordingly.

Yes in delivery you can change route manually , provided it is maintained in route determination.
