Hi Pratyusha

It seems to me that when you still have some communication problems between the servers.

I would suggest you to reactivate the configuration from the Domain Controller ( client 000 ). Before you do this, please check that the hosts and services file on both servers are correctly maintained ( QAS needs to reach DEV and DEV need to reach QAS back during all TMS activation steps ).

You will need to make sure QAS has an DEV entry in its hosts file, DEV has an QAS entry in its hosts file.

Also, for the services file, both servers must have:

sapmsQAS 36nn/tcp

sapmsDEV 36nn/tcp

sapdpnn 32nn/tcp

sapgwnn 33nn/tcp

Make sure you exchange "nn" with the correct instance numbers of DEV and QAS.

This file was generated by the Transport Management System.

Do not change this file using a text editor.

For further information please see the online documentation of transaction STMS.

If this file was destroyed, it can be regenerated in the TMS.

To do this, log on to the domain controller (system) and call Transaction STMS. In the System Overview, you can distribute the TMS configuration. This regenerates the file.

#STMS -> Overview -> Systems -> Extras -> Distribute TMS Configuration

Try rename TP_DOMAIN_ABA.PFL to TP_DOMAIN_ABA.BAK and execute as above.

confirm the next window with the "continue" button

were there any transport request hanging between your development & quality when u removed younr quality system ?

where there any transport request that were waiting to be imported in ur qa system?

if so try to delete the entries in the table trbat .

delete the new QA system and try to add it again and distribute the configuration

also please ensure that you have full access to transport directories

Hi,

Please delete the TMS configuration and also delete the transport routes wthin the TMS landscape and re-configure TMS using STMS. Update the configuration for each one of those systems and distribute and activate the configuration from the domain controller. This regenerates the files.

#STMS -> Overview -> Systems -> Extras -> Distribute TMS Configuration

Pl reward points if it helps.

Thanks,

Naga
