Visual Composer 7 and the Portal

Former Member

I have installed Visual Composer 7 and tried to configure it to connect to the backend it failed.

I create a system from the Portal side and it gives me an error - single sign-on is not configured.

We do not want to use single sign-on.

Please advise.

Hi,

First creat an alias for your Backend in Portal

Path:

Systemadministration->systemconfiguration->slect your system ->right click on it ->select system alias

Do the usermapping to access the backend for your VC user with the user who has permission to access the bcakend (Bcakend login credentals)

Path:

Useradministration->find your VC user->select userdetails by double click->click on modify->select usermapping tab->sleect the system alais what you had created->give the back nd credentials and save

Check the connection to backend

path:

Systemadministration->systemconfiguration->slect your system ->right click on it ->select conection test-.check the connections

if this is successfull menas you are able to access the backnd data

HI,

For doing the usermapping(Sigle Signon)

-Open the System You have created

-in the 'Property Category' select 'UserManagement'

-Select Usermapping type as 'user,admin'.

-Save the system.

-Now go to Usermanagement

-Give the Username to which u need to do mapping in Idendity management

-Select the user and select modify

-Select usermapping for system acess tab.

- from the dropdown select the system u have created

-At the bottom give the username and password to that backend system

This will solve you problem.
