Hi

How to send a mail a Purchase Order document to an external e-mail id ??

I have tried many ways using the SAP Library help documentation but in vain.

I am getting an error message:

<the recepient unknown>

inspite i have maintained the external e-id.

The SAP server is unable to process the mail which is sent. It is held in Waiting always as seen in SCOT tranaction.

You need to configure the SMTP Relay Agent on your Exchange server to allow messages from the IP Address of your SAP System to be sent.

Can you tell me where i can get the step-by-step procedure to do this ? Or do u have any such document ?

Contact your mail admin if your not familiar with Exchange or whatever e-mail software youre working with... this is not SAP competency so you won't find any documentation about it.
