I use VPN to access SAP servers in EUROPE and i work from INDIA.. While i am on VPN ,i am unable to print to the local printer. Do i need to make any settings to my desktop so that i can print to the local printer.
Please help me in resolving the issue.
Thanks in Advance,

Hi,
First add a defualt printer to your system locally.
Then , add the printer into your VPN session.
The below steps have to be done by the administrator.
Logon to you SAP system & run the tcode SPAD.
SPAD>full administration>output device-->create.
O/p device name:- for eg:-ZLOCAL
Shortname:-LOCL
Device type:-SAPWIN REL 4.x/......
Device Class:- standard.
Spool server:- Use the F4 help.
Attributes:-Front end printing.
Host priner:- _default.
Save it & trigger a prinout.Make sure you chosse the option "printout immediately" so that you get the o/p immdtly.
Hope it helps.
Regards,Prasanna
