there might be different reasons why you get this exception but the most common on is that your database definition on a local device (defined in a file meRepMeta.xml) does not match data that is being sent by the MI server.
That might have happened if SyncBos have been updated, or replicated data have been reset on the middleware.
In the first case you need to ensure first that your app on the device has a new meRepMeta.xml file.
And in both cases you need to reset data on the local device to get a fresh initial replication.
