How to create a Master Catalog

Hi,

We have master catalog in our SRM system (SRM260).Unfotunatly we have deleted this master Calatlog.How to restore this catalog again or How can I create a new Master Catalog in SRM.

Hi Raj,

you cannot restore the master catalog, you can only use your backup.

If you deleted the master correctly, then after running the report /CCM/INITIALIZE_CME you have to enter the web interface of the catalog. Afterwards the system will create the Master by the first accessing (therefore the first call of the CAT - catalog authoring tool - takes longer).

Hi,

You want to create a new master catalog without any data.

SPRO--> CA Appln.settings --> Specify settings for Mastercatalog ID and Fuzzy search.

This is the key which defines the master catalog id. Check it out.

But you have to redo all the mapping again for products for this.
