Application server shutdown

Hi All,

Need Urgent help!

While logging thru SAPMMC it starts processes and WPs, however after some time all the WP's stops automatically with error and a dispatcher process turns from green to grey....in the mean time when i am trying to start SAPlogon screen it gives me an application server shutdown error...

It was running fine untill i installed 10g's OUI on my system. I tried to do an upgrade from 9i (9.2.0.8.0) to 10g, however it was unsuccessful, i only managed to install OUI of 10g. i wasnt able to migrate due to some errors while running sapconnrole. sql file on CMD

I have tried to install CI and SAPlogon again but getting the same error......PROMPT help would be highly appreciated. ..

Hi,

Please check the trace files in the ditectory usr/sap/<sid>/DVEBMGSXX/WORK

Try to get error information from files

dev_disp and dev_w0

You will get the error info and resolve the issue.

Check also if your database still running.

i think SAP is not able to connect to database

so please check if you need to change any environmental variblae which are pointing to 10g needs to be shifted to 9i

and the check command r3trans -d this should give return code 0

Check you dev_w0 log file it will give u some helpfull info.
