Description of Change Request(CTS)

Hello,

Due to some problem, I am manually using FTP to move my cofiles and data files from QAS to PRD.

Now, when I add the Change Request to teh Import Queue of PRD, I am unable to see the Description of the Change request.

Could someone point out the reason for this and the possible solution.

I also experienced this quite often. But when I start the import the text appears, so that's not really a problem...

Hi...Gautam,,

Just keep in mind...While using FTP try to tranfer the data in BINARY FORMAT..

hi gautam,

just check any filters are set on the SHORT TEXT COLUMN of the requests.

if u have any filters on that column then delete them and u will get the descriptions.

coz this has happened to me also in the prd system.

This is because it is not able to copy the text document to the target system.You can ignore it.

Where exactly is this text document?

I thought teh cofile contained teh description.

But I have done this before and usually I do get the description.
