Add an Item in delivery which was not ordered

Hi All,

Can we add an item in delivery which was not in ordered ? if yes then why the item does'nt all picking ? if not then why?

Hi Ashima...

Though its not the regular practice to add items to the delivery document, it is possible to add materials straight away to the delivery document and do the PGI...

Try the following... Go to VL02n and enter your delivery document no and just add the material to the bottom of the list. go to pick quantity and enter the delivery quantity as the pick quantity. Do the PGI... It should be working fine...

Before that, its also advisable to check weather the plant and storage location is maintained for the material.Also check weather the stock exists for the particular material..

Also take care care of Delivery Item Category of new item.

Maintain this in O184 with delivery type(LF)Item Category Group(Norm)Item Category(DLN).

Will enable u to deliver this item without reference to order

Gwnwrally we dont add standard items in the delivery except packing materials. Packing of the item is controlled by the delivery item category configuration settings

You can add an item directly in the delivery.

But your other questions are not clear. Please make it clear.
