Long Running programms

Hi team,

Here i need to make a report for the programs which are running more than a period of time. How i can find the number of programs and the programe names which are running more than for 2 or 3 mintues.

Please assist.

I think you want list of top running programs and reports.

You can get this info from

st03n-ranking list andd look for top response time reports

stad - aanlysis for all transcation and reports

Sm37 - for background processing jobs.

You must be more accurate in what is your question.

All in sap is a program !! except data.

Wich program do you want to monitor ?

If it is a background job you can use transaction SM37.

You can check the long running process in sm66.

Also you can use the tcode sm50.

Hi,

Using these tcodes , you can find the programs which are with the status "running" along with the time they have consumed currently.However, they do not show you the programs which have got finished.

But, if a program is scheduled in the background, then you can get their duration using the tcode sm37 by giving the jobname, username & checking the status finished.
