Hi,

You can use transaction code in Solar02 in solution manager.

Depends on the company and there requirements they will use the Solution Manager.

If you enter the transaction code solar02 you can get the all modules details and you have to select the particular module and click.

And you can configure it.

if it isuseful reward points.

Solution Manager:

Purpose

The SAP Solution Manager supports you throughout the implementation and operation of mySAP.com solutions. It is a platform which supports the e-Business solution life-cycle, from the evaluation thru configuration to production operation. The SAP Solution Manager offers central access to preconfigured content, tools, and methodology that you can use during the evaluation and implementation of mySAP.com.

The SAP Solution Manager provides you with:

u2022 Preconfigured content for the evaluation and implementation of e-business solutions

u2022 ASAP methodology for the implementation of e-business solutions

u2022 Tried and tested implementation and test tools, for example, the Implementation Guide (IMG) or the Test Workbench

The SAP Solution Manager also provides an authoring function that you can use to create your own project templates for your implementation project. This makes the SAP Solution Manager an ideal tool for SAP partners and companies involved in global rollouts.

Implementation Considerations

In order to use the SAP Solution Manager, you need certain releases for the systems in your system landscape. Further information can be found in the note 0420959.

Features

Supports your evaluation and implementation

The SAP Solution Manager supports you during the phases of your evaluation and implementation. These phases are based on the phases of the Implementation Roadmap for mySAP.com. You can use the SAP Solution Manager to carry out the following activities during your evaluation and implementation project:

u2022 Projektvorbereitung: Define project and system landscape

u2022 Business Blueprint: Evaluate business processes, describe business scenarios and business processes in Business Blueprint

u2022 Realization: Configure, compare and distribute customizing, setup test system, organize test

The SAP Solution Manager also supports cross-project functions:

u2022 Project Analysis

u2022 Call a Roadmap which leads you through a project step by step

In the SAP Solution Manager, you use the functionality of the Knowledge Warehouse that is delivered along with the SAP Web Application Server. The SAP Solution Manager will also work if you have already installed a version of the Knowledge Warehouse. However, this is not a prerequisite for use of the SAP Solution Manager.

Various user roles are also delivered with the SAP Solution Manager. Project members can log on to the implementation project using the roles and authorizations assigned to them and work through their specific project tasks.

Tools to implement mySAP.com and create templates

The SAP Solution Manager offers access to central tools or transactions that you can use to create and implement your e-business solution, including:

u2022 The Implementation Roadmap that leads you through all the phases of the implementation

u2022 Project Administration allows you to manage planning schedules, human resources and other project data.

u2022 The transaction for definition of your Business Blueprint enables you to choose the business processes you require and set the project scope.

u2022 You can use Business Configuration Sets (BC Sets) to transport documented preconfiguration into systems.

u2022 The Implementation Guide (IMG) enables you to carry out the Customizing of the business processes you have selected.

u2022 The Customizing Scout lets you compare Customizing in the selected mySAP.com components with the customizing in SAP R/3.

u2022 Customizing Distribution allows you to sychronize customizing performed in the mySAP.com components with customizing in SAP R/3.

u2022 You can use the Test Workbench to organize tests at the end of a project phase.

u2022 Project Analysis

An authoring environment is delivered with the SAP Solution Manager that enables customers and partners to create their own templates. Partners can use the authoring environment to:

u2022 Enhance the preconfiguration and documentation delivered by SAP with their own business expertise

u2022 Create their own material for evaluation and implementation, specifically tailored for their own customers

Customers can use the authoring environment to:

u2022 Save preconfiguration and documentation centrally

u2022 Create a template which they can, for example, pass on to their subsidiaries in a global rollout scenario.

Functions for operational sites

The SAP Solution Manager also provides services and checks for operational sites. For further information, refer to the online documentation for these functions.

Process Flow

1. The Roadmaps contain information and procedures for all phases of your implementation project.

2. Your work with the SAP Solution Manager really begins after the evaluation phase. The first step is to define your project in the Solution Manager. You enter administrative data in the Project Administration transaction, for example, details of project dates and team members.

3. You set the project scope during the project preparation phase.

4. In the project preparation phase, you define the system landscape you require for the implementation of your e-business solution.

5. You define a Business Blueprint by documenting the organizational units, master data, business scenarios and business processes you require for the implementation of your e-business solution. During the Business Blueprint definition, you read the documentation supplied by SAP and partners, create your own project documentation, and assign individual process steps to transactions.

6. You configure your business scenarios in the development system.

7. You check the test cases delivered with your solution and assign further test cases to individual processes and process steps.

8. You perform a consistency check for the Customizing of your business processes. In other words, you check whether the Customizing is the same in the various application components. You can use the Customizing Distribution, to keep Customizing synchronized.

9. You can organize tests. You organize testssapurl_link_0009_0011_0013 using the test cases selected during configuration.

It is possible to carry out a project analysis at any point during your project to obtain information on the status of your project and on the progress made in testing or configuration.

The system landscape is the basis for using the SAP Solution Manager. A correctly maintained system landscape is a prerequisite for the subsequent Solution Manager functions:

u2022 Generating project IMGs in the Project Administration

u2022 Going to the component systems in the configuration phase

u2022 Synchronization group editor

u2022 Customizing Synchronization (Customizing Scout, Customizing Distribution
