A technical object can be described as, a component within a technical system, on which a maintenance task is to be performed / An individual, physical object that is to be maintained as an autonomous unit.
Functional Location comes under technical obects. The other techinical ojbects used in PM/CS are Equipments, Bill of Materials.
Functional Location : Organizational unit within Logistics that structures the maintenance objects of a company according to functional, process-oriented or spatial criteria. A functional location represents the place at which a maintenance task is to be performed.
