OSS1 without SAProuter in Solution Manager

Dear all,

I setup my Solman, and now the step for OSS1 configuration.

My system do not have any SAPRouter. We just need to directly connect to Internet.

I see the ip for SAP router at SAP is 147.204.2.5.

When I try to connect, the system display the message "Unable to connect to SAPNet message server".

Even then SAP GUI is tried but no luck.

My question:

1. Do I have to setup SAProuter at my site for the connection to SAPNet work?

2. Additionally, do I need to make any other additional configuration for SAPNet connection?

You need a saprouter on your side to connect to SAP's saprouter. You can find more info. on Internet Connections (How to establish Internet Connections) to SAP using SNC at this link
