If Material is not Available then Material Determination has to occur. how

Dear SAP Guru's

i have a business Scenario like below.

My Customer is having Material A & Material B. if Material A is not available then in such a case Material B is to substitute Automatically.

ie if the particular material is not available then material determination is to occur. How to do this Scenario . Could anybody explain me.

Hi ,

In transaction VB11, material determination condition records you will find alternative material icon in the left hand side top

Click the icon by selecting the line item.

now you will find a A filed MRP indicator. please check this field ,

MRP indicator :The MRP indicator: if you activate the MRP indicator not necessary to have the first item stock.
