SLD - You do not have permission to view the System Landscape Directory.

Hi All,

I'm getting below error when I'm opening our QA SLD. I have alomost every role in ABAP side.

(SAP_J2EE_ADMIN/SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR/SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR/SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER/SAP_SLD_GUEST..)

- Error -

You do not have permission to view the System Landscape Directory. Minimum required: UME role with permission com.sap.lcr.LcrUser and J2EE role LcrUser. See the SLD Post-Installation Guide for details.

-

The funny thing is I don't have any error in Dev, Prod SLD with same role.

One more question is, How do I transport New SLD Object (Technical system, Business System) into QA & Prod.

Should I create those Object directly in QA SLD or is it transportable Object?

I know the Objects in IR & ID is tranportable.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

You need to have all these roles...crosscheck if you have all these

SAP_SLD_GUEST

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

SAP_SLD_DATA_SUPPLIER

SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER

SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR

SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER

SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR

Also check this for more details

Can you please create a role in

Useradmin(http://<host>:<http port>/Useradmin) and assign

"sap.com_com.sap.lcr.LcrUser" action to that role and then assign that

role to the user you are using to logon to sld and check whether that resolve the issue or not.

You can transport new object by using Export and Import method or by creating a Dtata supplier bridge between the SLD.

The "SLD User Manual" (for your NW release) at

contains a section on "Exports and Backups" which may serve as guidance

Thanks and Regards,

Vipin

Check if you have SLD DISPLAY authority (it is some kind of display authorization).
