Hello,
We have set up Alerts and End to End monitoring configurations according to instructions but still can't the alerts to trigger. While trying to see the process reciew in End to End monitoring, we get a Java Null Pointer Exception pop up with an option of "Start JNET" or "Stop". Is this attributed to the alerts not being triggered?? We are in SP11. So we are heavily dependent on the END TO END monitoring config. What could be the issue?
Any ideas..

Hi Teresa,
I ran into this problem recently.
This is likely due to the version of the Java plug-in you have installed in your browser. I've seen this problem when I tried to use JRE 1.5 (5.0).
I solved this by:
1) Uninstalling JDK/JRE 1.5.
2) Installing the lastest JDK/JRE 1.4.2
Thanks,
Jesse
