Hi,

As much as I know these are the designations for SAP consultants. Even this is not the standard practice followed around the globe for SAP folks for e.g. in India we do not have this categorization based on K1-K7. What I can see that almost each company has their own criteris for designation.

In my view:

K1 = Beginner/Junior Consultant (1-2 years of exp)

K2 = Consultant (2-4 years of exp)

K3 = Senior Consultant (4-6 years of exp)

K4 = Management consultant/Lead Consultant (6-8 years of exp)

K5 = Manager/Technical Manager (8-10 years of exp)

K6 = Consulting Manager/Group Manager (10-12 years of exp)

K7 = Principal Consultant/General Manager (12 or above years of exp)

Note: This is just an overview. The level might vary from company to company.

Subhash
