hi,

In file adapter, in file access parameter what is sourse directory

this is the address for the source file where it is placed.

if u r using NFS protocol please change \ to /.

the file name must be same as the sender file name.

in the receiver file adapter the

you need to give the address for the target directory where u want to put the target file

Hi

thanks for your reply.

if i have file im my desktop so iam uploading it to SAP (AL11) by using some customised transaction.

as per my understand ,now the Sourse directory is nothing but the path of the file in app. server (AL11)

now if i run the transaction the record file will saved in Archive directory.

please currect me if iam wrong

Hi,

Source dir --> from where you pick the file

File name -- > name of file

Archive dir -- > If you want save the files in some other directory after processing them. you can mentione that directory here. its like keeping the record of files processed by FTP channel
