STO to be created in intra/inter company within same warehouse

Hello,

We want the following scenario to be replicated.

STO to be created for Inter/Intra company stock transfer within the same warehouse.

Source plant - X

Destination plant - Y

Both sharing the same warehouse basically there is no physical goods movement , it is just a logical move

Source & Destination warehouse both - K (the same warehouse. )

The above scenario can be addressed through Transfer posting using 301 single step IM movement , but Client specifically wants to use STO.

Is there any way in which we can use STO for the abovesaid scanario?

Hi

Use the STO process as normal, Plant Y is a customer of Plant X and there should be no reason why this should not work.

If you create a outbound delivery for this STO then you will have to go through with creatinbg and confirming a TO and thgen Post goods issue for the delivery and then recive in to the receiving plant but physically do nothing.

The thing is that youn are carrying out a plant to plant transfer and if you have a warehouse you have to complete the cyccle.
