Changing Actual Goods Issue Date in the shipment

Hello. I am an SAP analyst trainee and I have a question concerning posting goods issue from the shipment. When I press shipment completion the GI is being posted with current date. Is it possible to control this date somewhere in the shipment? Or it can be done only on delivery level??

I will appreciate your help.

hi ,

No , when we click the shipment end , the program go for the document flow and take the delivery which is included in the shipment and the system will automatically do PGI.

We cannot change the delivery date.

the delivery date is different from the PGI date.

Thank you for your help. It seems like there is no standard way to control GI posting date from the shipment.
