I want to perform the System Copy/System Refresh from Production to Non Production.
Please any one could you guide me what are pre steps (Before System Copy) like Copy the Background Jobs etc..
Thanks
Jayson
Hi,
In your non production system:
1) Have successful backup.
2) export the user master with scc8 in which all the client you want to retain user master.
3) Export the RFC by SE01 transport of copies and add the objects to that.and release the transport.
4) export printers using SPAD/output devices/ details/edit/transfer/export / in the devices use * top export all . with this you can transport to frontend in txt file .Import it after the system copy .
Or else you can use the transport and make a TR
5) Take screen shots of Op modes and SMLG.
6) If any special thing like any other tables data or jobs have to be retained that all have to be preserved accordingly.
7) Preserve SAP license..
😎 Save the crontab
There are many threads in the SDN and also look for SAP notes.
The procedure may change as per the requirements in your landscape...etc.
Thanks.

Jayson can you be specific like what type of system copy you are going to perform and you can find all the guides in the service market place under the installation guides and also it tells you what all are the steps that you need to perform before and after the copy based on your application.
