FM for assigning Ext. Pod ID for Installation

Experts,

I am using FM : ISU_S_INSTLN_CREATE to create the Installation.

Can i know the FM to assign the EXT pod ID to the installation created.

Hi,

you can use ISU_DB_EUIINSTLN_UPDATE or ISU_EDM_UI_UPDATE.

Hi,

you also could have a look at function module ISU_S_POD_INST_REASSIGN and it's details where the external IDs of the PoD are used. Possibly also report REIDE_CORRECT_POD_ASSIGNMENTS can be used / gives a very good example.
