Hi All,

Who will maintain the pricing condition records?

We as consultant or User?

Who will have the access?

My opinion is User will maintain the condition records.

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

Condition Records are the maser data for pricing.

As you opinion is correct , user will maintain the condition records.

But now we have one topic called MDM - master data management.

This is the training provided by SAP to the client user or rsupper users. some user are identified and they will store the master data.

while doing unit test - the consultant will store the master data.

while doing intergration test , the MDM will store one or two master data means one customer, one material and relevant condition records. that to we have to mail then the requirement.

hope you will reward points.

thanks

hi friend !!!!

yes u r right because its master data part

but consider one thing when u r doing implementation its u r (sd consultant ) responsibility to hand over the complete system to client

means simply u r responsible at initial stage to do configuration and at the same upload whole master data because its very huge in quantity

and at support stage if any material rate is vary so u can give authorization to user to change or cerate condition record

hope it will help

Hi Ravi,

As a Consultant, after studying the client business Process,

Customize the Pricing related things.

Usually Users will be creating the Condition records.

But this differ from client to client.different controls will be give to different users.Like some user will be creating the Pricing records for which some users will be creating the sales orders etc,

If the client says that, then consultant to create the records to control the user.

Please Reward If Really Helpful,

Thanks and Regards,
