What is the purpose of transaction code BP in ECC6.0

Dear Experts,

I have one question , In ECC 6.0 when enter the transaction code BP system is showing the samilar screen like CRM . But when i enter the sold to party no to search the customer with Tcode BP system not showing the error.Where as when i create the customer or contact person with transaction code BP in ECC 6.0 i can able to create the Partner. What is the purpose of the Transaction code BP in ECC6.0.

Hi,

Yes, I also seen few CRM screens and settings in ECC.

Few of CRM t.codes are working in ECC 6.0.

you can find CRM business partner settings in

SPRO>Cross Application Components> SAP Business partner>Business partner

and some Prodcuts related t.code also working in ECC 6.0.

Hello,

BP is the transaction code for Business partner. As you said it is a CRM transaction code, I belive some of the CRM / BI components (Lower Versions) are in built in ECC 6.0.

As per my understanding T.Code: BP is not relevant for ECC 6.0, but correctly mentioned that it is a Transaction Code for CRM.
