Product Decomposition in Deployment Optimization

Dear Experts;

I'm running deployment optimization for a big network yet it creates the error id:600 which I suspect because of the overload of data. In order to increase the performance I want to try using product decomposition. It'd be highly appreciated if you can share your knowledge about product decompositin, what the window size is and how it can diminish the solution quality (in my network one product does not influence the other )

I may be shooting in the dark, but you might want to try the parallel profile option since you say the scope of deployment for products are relatively distinct. We have had some good success using parallel profiles in different SAP functions in terms of performance and runtimes. Or you can also try to use multiple selection IDs to run the optimization run serially before resorting to decomposition techniques.
