GRC-AE5.2: not found OracleDriver.sda in SP09_P01 file

Hi,

Could anyone give me a hint please...

I'm trying to apply AE5.2 SP09 patch01.

(I)

In the readme.txt of the SP file, OracleDriver.sda file need to be deployed in the applying sequence.

But OracleDriver.sda file is not found in the SP file.

Original direction is

"2. Deploy AEDictionary.sda, AEUME.sda, , OracleDriver.sda, AEEAR.ear, AEWorkFlowWSEAR.ear, AEEAR4WS.ear."

(II)

In the readme.txt of the SP file, 1 SDA file and 1 EAR file are needed to be undeployed.

Meanwhile, 3 SDA files (including OracleDriver.sda) and 3 EAR files are needed to be deployed.

The rest files which are not-undeployed are needed to be undeployed?

regards,

Katsumi

Hi Katsumi,

For system upgradation follows below defined steps:-

SAP Release: WAS 640

AE Installation:-

-

1. Undeploy AEUME.sda, AEEAR.ear(if installing on the previous build)

2. Deploy AEDictionary.sda, AEUME.sda, AEEAR.ear, AEWorkFlowWSEAR.ear, AEEAR4WS.ear

3. Perform Initdata

a. Import with Append option AE_init_append_data.xml

5. Restart J2EE Engine

6. Application should work as expected.

Using these steps you can easily upgrade yur support pack's for access enforcer.

Note :-You dont need to deploy OracleDriver.sda if your backend at sql server and MAX DB.

Hi Katsumi,

Please dont import AE_init_clean_and_insert_data.xml, otherwise you lost your data.
