Plan with Usage 5 and Status 3 not getting assigned to lot of type 01

Hi Everybody,

For a particular material the Inspection Plan header has Usage 5 and Status 3. When a inspection lot is created with inspection type 01, this plan is not getting assigned to the lot. When I change the Status of the plan from 3 to 4, the plan gets assigned to the lot easily.

Can you please tell me why this is happening ?

Hello Manish,

inspection plans are not designed for costing purposes accordingly the status 3 avoids the assignment of the plan.

As you have already noticed, you need to generally release the plan to use it in QM.

HI

if you set usage 3 (costing),in the inspection plan,when lot is craeting system will not recognize,

if you set 4 release for genearl then only system will recognize nad it will assign to LOT.
