Hi Everybody,
Can any one please clarify my doubt as to whether the MPOS (or Master Planning Object Structure) has characteristics or key figures or both of them?

MPOS have only characteristics. KFs you should define in planning area.

MPOS has only characterisrics and no key figures. In fact when you are activating MPOS infocube gets generated in the back end by system.
Key figures are contained in Planning Area. You have to specify it.

MPOS only have the characteristics value not keyfigures,
The planning area only having your keyfigures values.
The value of the characteristics which is stored in planning area that's why you refencing your MPOS in planning area while creation.
